NBA’s Kobe Bryant
Getting to launch a major product line AND rubbing shoulders with a NBA Legend doesn’t happen every day, so we were honored when Two Trees Productions asked to help concept this spot for the NBA’s official trading card game. Coordinating the setup from Dallas for the L.A. shoot, we utilized every pixel of the RED 4k camera for our green screen comps. We then built a MVP Kobe Bryant a virtual court to strut his stuff in as we orchestrated a dynamic swarm of motion graphics around him. The NBA was as stoked as we were after viewing the final spot in glorious high definition.
You can also check out samples below to see some fun behind the scene stills. Kobe was even cool enough to show his linguistic prowess, speaking the spot tag in many different languages. In turn, we impressed him when we demonstrated some of our mad game to him on the court. He knew to back off once he saw how we could take our interns to the rack at will.
